From C.P. Vietnam Corporation, there were the Board of Directors, representatives of more than 20 livestock farms and branches in Southern provinces and all employees in the company’s office at Bien Hoa Industrial Zone, Dong Nai province. Business partners, news agencies, national and local medias also attended the ceremony.
C.P. Vietnam Corporation is a large enterprise in the Southern area which has successfully applied Quality Management System under international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP in their businesses.
Since the early days of investing in livestock, C.P. Vietnam had understood that it is necessary to apply international standards in order to produce safe and healthy food for Vietnamese consumers. After VietGAP standard becoming available, C.P. Vietnam followed the legal procedures to be certified under VietGAP. Currently, all the company’s farms have met VietGAP standard.
The fact that the company’s farms received VietGAP certificate has ensured the company’s reputation, creating an opportunity to expand the market and improving the business performance. Moreover, this established a foundation for C.P. Vietnam Corporation to promote sustainable development in the context of Vietnam international integration.

Speaking at the ceremony, on be half of the company, Dr. Kieu Minh Luc - Deputy General Director expressed his gratitude and highly appreciate the quality of VinaCert’s certification. He also offered to cooperate with VinaCert in the future to support C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation in expanding VietGAP application scale for 30 livestock farms as planned.

In the solemn atmosphere of the VietGAP Certificate Receiving Ceremony, the representative of VinaCert, Mr. Trinh Tuan An, made a speech to acknowledge the responsible cooperation of C.P. Vietnam. He also congratulated the company’s business achievement, especially the successful application of Good Agricultural Practice for pig production in Vietnam and being certified by VinaCert. This succeed is the premise for C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation to prove its brand image and enhance its reputation in Vietnam market.

Mr. An also came up on the stage to give presents and VietGAP certificates to the representatives of 20 livestock farms and branches in the Southern provinces for applying VietGAP standard in pig production and gaining many achievement in business.

C.P. Group (Thailand) has invested in Vietnam since 1988 under a business office in Ho Chi Minh city. In 1993, C.P. Vietnam Livestock Co., Ltd. was established and they developed an animal feed mill in Dong Nai province, Southern Vietnam, which is the current headquarter of the company.
In 2009, C.P. Vietnam Livestock Co., Ltd merged with Charoen Pokphand Vietnam Co., Ltd. to become C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation, then it was changed into C.P. Vietnam Corporation in 2011. The company businesses are in agricultural – industrial industry, with a focus on food production sector such as producing and processing cattle, poultry and seafood.
Nowadays, C.P. Vietnam’s livestock production follows eco-friendly VietGAP procedures, starting from the high quality breeds to the modern livestock production system. This farming system is equipped with advanced instruments and equipment to produce pigs, chickens, hens, shrimps and fishes in a proper farm area to serve the diverse needs of customers national wide. The farming system also supplies shrimps and fishes to frozen seafood factories for the seafood export business of the company.
