On behalf of the Leader Board, the Chairman of the Board sent his New Year’s greetings to all employees of VinaCert. This is an opportunity for all employees to summarize together the achievements last year and get the strategies, plans and business goals in 2015 through the report of the CEO: Mr. Ngo Van Nam.

In 2014, although there were many difficulties from the economy and competition from other certification bodies, VinaCert led the private certification bodies in certification field and have had credibility with the business community nationwide thanks to the right strategies of the Board and all employees’ efforts. 2014 has a more special meaning for VinaCert when VinaCert laboratory was officially accredited according to International Standard ISO 17025:2005 by American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) – General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories - in providing goods quality testing services. Besides that, VinaCert completed the accreditation assessment process of the International Accreditation Body of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) for certification activities.
This is a great achievement and solid foundation for the development of the company, but at the same time is a significant challenge requiring employees’ efforts to improve themselves and upgrade their professional levels to maintain two accredited systems.
CEO’s 2014 final report has outlined some impressive results showing VinaCert’s development. VinaCert’s revenue increased by 122,27% against 2013; Business Department’s sales raised by 136,6% in comparison with the same period last year; an increase of 458,45% in revenue of inspection activities its prosperity, in which the revenue of Can Tho office accounts for 73,82% in exported seafood products inspection. In testing field, Hanoi laboratory in particular witnessed an increase of 165,23% in the number of received samples in which the rate of tests performed by itself increased to 83.01%. VinaCert completed its investment on Hanoi and Can Tho laboratory system with modern analytical equipment. Food Safety Institute (FSI) held a scientific research result review meeting on a highly applicable project on applying VietGAP in industrial white shrimp aquaculture in Tan Van Private Enterprise. The project helped farmers get an increase of VND1.27 billion in profit compared that in 2013.

During the meeting, the whole company also discussed the shortcomings to orient in the direction of highly united team, contributing to the development and integration of the company in 2015. The VinaCert’s slogan for 2015 is: “Drastic, more drastic- step by step firmly, confidently for ASEAN intergration”. The Board also determined on the solutions and key tasks for a challenging new year: stabilizing the quality of current services, improving customer satisfaction; rearranging the organizational structure, increasing labor productivity and employee incomes and minimizing waste costs in the company.
In the end of the meeting, VinaCert’s staffs exchanged New Year’s greetings to each other, wishing a new year full of health, luck and especially outstanding work performance in 2015.
