Introduction between lecturers and trainees in the training course
During 5 days, the participants were taught by the main lecturer, Ms. Tracy Lean Chooi Yin (Malaysian) and assistant lecturer, Ms. Mangalika de Silva (Sri Lankan) of the IQCS Organization about the basic content to understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the requirements and evaluation methods. The course also provides trainees with knowledge and skills to carry out first party audit, second-party audit and third party audit in ISO 9001 Quality Management System under the ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 standard.

The trainees were also explained on the purpose of a quality management system, quality management system standards, third-party audit of the quality management system and the benefits of an improved quality management system. Also, the role and responsibilities of auditors in the stages such as planning, carrying out evaluation, writing audit report of the quality management system in compliance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 were explained thoroughly.
Trainees were divided into groups and guided by assistant lecturer, Ms. Mangalika de Silva, to do the exercises.
During the learning process, in parallel with the theory, trainees were split in groups, role-played and practiced situational exercises of each content to practice skills in planning, carrying out evaluation, writing audit report on whether the quality management system is conformed (or unconformed) with ISO 9001 and comformed with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.

The training course spent a lot of time on organizing seminars, researching and doing exercises, in which trainee role-playing as an auditor to handle hypothetical situations developed by the IRCA lecturers.

Through the acquisition and application of logical argument skills during the course of more than 40 hours of lectures, seminars and research presentations under the IRCA criteria, the tutors have helped trainees to have an opportunity to experience the skills of a potential international auditor.

At the end of the course, trainees had a written exam based on the contents that they had been trained. This is the basis for IRCA to issue auditor/lead auditor certificates for trainees.
The Certificates granted by IRCA are the certificates of the leading professional organization. Participants can submit requests and carry out procedures of IRCA for issuing international auditor card.

(IRCE – the International Register of Certificated Auditor was founded in 1984 as the first organization in the field of training auditor, certifying auditor and certifying auditor training courses).
Currently, IRCA is the largest organization in the world operating in this field and has issued more than 35,000 auditor certificates in over 150 different countries.
