JAS-ANZ was established in 1991 by the Australian and New Zealand governments, JAS-ANZ provides accreditation of conformity assessment bodies in the field of certification and inspection. JAS-ANZ is an active member of international organizations such as International Accreditation Forum (IAF), Multilateral Cooperative Accreditation Arrangement (MCAA), Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). JAS-ANZ has an important role for certification bodies. Accreditation by JAS-ANZ will bring many benefits for the certification bodies such as certificattion bodies’ services are reliable, professional, impartial and objective; easily accepted and designated by state agencies; certificates of the certification bodies are identified and accepted worldwide.

After reviewing the requirements and assessment registration documents of VinaCert, JAS-ANZ performed accreditation assessment. VinaCert implemented all steps and completed registration process to JAS-ANZ,and met all accreditation requirements of JAS-ANZ.
On January 27th 2015, JAS-ANZ sent a congratulation letter to VinaCert with accreditation to three International standards (ISO/IEC 17021:2011, ISO/IEC 17065:2012, and ISO/TS 22003:2007). JAS-ANZ accredited VinaCert competence in management from organizational structure, objectivity. impartiality and principles of certification activities management to auditors and staffs competence, information management and processes of the management system, etc, meets the requirements of accreditation standards.
Accreditation registration by an international body often has many difficulties such as language barriers, assessment cost, strict auditor competence requirements, etc. By the competence of auditors, staffs and exceptional management method, VinaCert gained international accreditation certificates. This success also came from the unity, trust in the leaders and the coordinated consensus, agreement from the leader to middle-level managers and all staffs. The general objective of the body is international accreditation. This is one of the objectives in 2014 that VinaCert completed. However, above all, VinaCert always understands that accreditation is not the final destination but only the first steps. More important is implementation and maintenance of management system to continuously meet the accreditation requirements, which will bring added value to the certification activities as well as customers of VinaCert.
On New Year's Eve's 2015, being joyful with accreditations in certification and testing activities of two major accreditation organizations - American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and International Accreditation Body JAS-ANZ, but VinaCert has not forgotten the responsibility that weighed heavily on its shoulders, that is to bring reliability and international-quality-level services to businesses. So that VinaCert can accompany domestic enterprises to overcome technical barriers of free trade agreements such as AEC, TPP, FTA, etc, for regional and international integration.
